Based on an 1882 botanical drawing, this hand drawn digital image was made in response to the violence and horrendous conditions that Palestinians face. As an artist, I can do this small thing - add some beauty, and connection to the land, with drawing - and raise money from sales to support a Refugee Mental Health Program in Jordan and children and youth workshops through Haweyate.
Local business Chromocat Press are printing this image on Hahnemuhle Photo rag 308gsm paper, A3 size (297×420mm) at a discounted rate, and all proceeds after printing costs go to this program.
